Do all phones support SMS?
Yes, nearly 99.5% of all phones and PDA's in the U.S. support text messaging.
Is there an SMS fee?
That depends on your telecom carrier plan. Some people have unlimited text messaging plans, while others don't and a standard rate applies to each text message.
What is the maximum amount of characters my company can use in one SMS message?
Up-to 160 characters.
I'm in a hurry. How long will it take to get a text program up and running?
Assuming we use one of our short codes, we will get your program up and running in 2-4 business days.
How long will it take for my company's message to reach our consumers/audience?
About 5 seconds! And the return message will take anywhere between 5 - 15 seconds, assuming networks are performing at average speeds.
Which wireless carriers does Go with SMS work with?
We work with 17 of the top 20 wireless carriers like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, etc, which means that roughly 95% of the US population will be able to participate in your campaign.
Do I need any additional software on my computer?
No software is required. You set up your program through our easy-to-use web site that can be accessed from any computer with internet connection. Just follow the simple steps and you will be ready to go in no time.
Will users be able to reply back to a number or message my company sends out (i.e., can the sender be identified)?
Yes, and you'll want them to reply so you can capture important feedback to your offers and promotional ideas.
Will users have the choice to opt-out of receiving promotional/marketing SMS messages from my company?
Yes, an opt-out option can be inserted into any message.
Can my company include a picture within my SMS marketing message?
Not yet, simple SMS is just characters, no graphics. Pictures and other graphics can be sent via MMS technology which is available but at higher rates.
Once I register a keyword, for how long do I own it?
As long as monthly payments are made, your selected keyword will remain in your account. Once your account is cancelled or you fail to make a payment, the keyword will become available after 30 days.
Can I upload, or enter mobile phone #'s to one of my marketing lists?
The only way to add a phone # to your list to send your keyword to our short code from a mobile device, or enter it on your website using our text message widget. If you have an existing list that you need imported, please contact us.
Can I run a one-time 1 month long campaign?
Yes, with Go with SMS, you sign-up on a month to month basis. There are no contracts. When your campaign is completed, simply notify us to cancel the keyword.
How do I, the client, know the details of a campaign?
We have an admin. tool that allows real-time data on your program. We give you access to see the information whenever you want.
What if I need more messages than I originally signed up for?
You can upgrade or downgrade your account at any time. If you find you are running low on messages, simply upgrade to the next level.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, For each account you refer to us, we will credit your account with an equal amount of the monthly package the person you referred signs up for.
